Toni I use this on my dog before going into the woods or fields. It helps prevent burrs and other plant material from adhering to her coat. Once a burr is stuck in her coat, you can use this to help get them out too by just spraying onto the matted area and comb the burrs out. Love how I can put that comb in my pocket or bag out in the woods/fields, very convenient.
